①无复数，可与a(n)连用，但不能与one连用。

【例】A deal of money was spent in the transportation.

在运输上已花去许多钱。

②deal前还可用good或great修饰。

【例】It was with a great deal of pleasure that we received your order February 17.

收到你方2月17日订单，感到非常高兴。

【2】交易

【例】We believe that the first transaction under this contract will lead to many profitable deals between us in future.

我们相信，此合同项下的第一笔交易将导致许多对双方有利的业务。

【3】deal in经营（商品）

【例】They deal in Chinese textiles.

他们经营中国纺织品。

【4】deal off使停止，取消

【例】If you find our price unworkable, we have no other choice but to deal the deal off.

如果你方觉得我方价格（高）难以接受，我们别无选择，只好取消这笔交易。

【5】deal with与……交易[经营]

【例】We’ve dealt with the same firm for years and can thoroughly recommend it to you.

【例】We will deal with this matter in a few days.
