①泛谈“控制”时（尤其是用作分词的宾语时），用名词（不可数）。

【例】The Thai government took control of all rice exports.

泰国政府控制了所有大米的出口。

②谈具体的“控制”（尤其是带有修饰语）时，常用复数形式；后面接用on [over] sth。

【例】Most countries have controls on trade.

多数国家对贸易实行管制。
