Syllable-timed
音节合拍
A very general term used in phonetics to characterize the pronunciation of languages displaying a particular type of rhythm; it is opposed to stress-timed languages. In syllable-timed languages, the syllables are said to occur at regular intervals of time, as in French; this characteristic is sometimes referred to as isosyllabism or isosyllabicity.
语音学的一个通用术语,用来描写一类语言的发音有特殊类型的节奏;与重音合拍对立。按这种对立,音节合拍语言是音节按一定的时间间隔出现,如法语;这一特点有时称作“等音节”。
