Your Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,
女士们、先生们、朋友们：

很高兴应航空国务部长邀请出席今天的活动。
It is my honour and pleasure to be here. I thank honourable Minister of State for Aviation Sen. Hadi Sirika for inviting me.
基础设施至关重要。设施联通行动是2018年中非合作论坛北京峰会“八大行动”之一。不论公路、铁路、水路、航路还是别的路，中国人常说“要想富，先修路”。改善交通基础设施，也是尼日利亚实现经济复苏与增长计划目标的优先要务。有人说尼日利亚现在成了个大工地。我过去两年多在尼耳闻目睹，对此颇有同感。
Infrastructure matters everywhere. Infrastructure connectivity is part and parcel of the Eight Major Initiatives of the 2018 FOCAC Beijing Summit. Be it highway, railway, waterway, airway, or other ways, in China we often say, “to build fortune, roads should be built first.” For Nigeria, improving transportation infrastructure is a key execution priority to achieve the objectives of the ERGP, Nigeria’s Economic Recovery and Growth Plan. They say Nigeria is now a huge construction site. As an eyewitness here in this great nation for over two years, I share the same impression.
尼日利亚在实现国家和平安宁和发展振兴的进程中不断取得重要成就。在阿布贾纳姆迪·阿齐克韦国际机场新航站楼启用之际，我谨向布哈里总统、尼日利亚政府和人民表示热烈祝贺。我也祝贺中土公司和中国进出口银行再次用行动表明自己是尼日利亚的可靠伙伴。
Please allow me, on the occasion of the commissioning of the biggest terminal building in West Africa today at NAIA Abuja, to warmly congratulate President Buhari, the government and good people of Nigeria, on making steady, sustainable and significant progress for Nigeria’s peace and prosperity. My congratulations also go to CCECC and China Exim Bank for proving themselves once again to be reliable partners of Nigeria.
中国和尼日利亚同为发展中大国。在两国领导人引领下，兄弟般的中尼关系达到新的战略高度，正处于历史上最好时期，给双方人民带来实实在在利益。展望未来，我们相信，两国战略伙伴关系将更加坚强有力。中尼合作一直走在中非合作前列。及时有效落实中非合作论坛北京峰会成果，全面推进“一带一路”合作，必将为中尼合作共赢注入强劲新动力。
Both China and Nigeria are large developing countries. Under the guidance of President Buhari and President Xi Jinping, the brotherly relationship between China and Nigeria has reached new strategic heights unmatched in history, bringing tangible benefits to our two peoples. Moving forward, we are convinced that China and Nigeria can forge an even stronger strategic partnership. To implement the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit promptly and efficiently and jointly advance the Belt and Road Initiative, will surely inject strong and new impetus to the mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Nigeria, which is a pacesetter in China-Africa cooperation.

中国的发展离不开世界，世界的繁荣也需要中国。前天，习近平主席在庆祝改革开放40周年大会上发表的重要讲话中强调，必须坚持扩大开放，不断推动共建人类命运共同体。
China cannot develop itself in isolation from the world, and the world needs China for global prosperity. In his speech delivered at a grand gathering to celebrate the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening-up in Beijing the day before yesterday, President Xi underlined China’s commitment to opening up wider to the world and promoting joint efforts to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
13亿多中国人民始终同2亿尼日利亚人民同呼吸、共命运，始终尊重尼日利亚、热爱尼日利亚、支持尼日利亚，坚持做到“五不”。凡是答应尼日利亚兄弟的事，中方都会尽心尽力办好。
The over 1.3 billion Chinese people have been with the almost 200 million Nigerian people in pursuing a shared future. We respect Nigeria, love Nigeria and support Nigeria. We follow a “five-no” approach in our relations with Nigeria. We will remain true to our commitment to Nigerian brothers with full heart and soul.
