【1】合伙关系，合股关系

 

①【例】We are pleased to advise you that we have this day admitted to partnership Mr. P. Lytton.

我们高兴地通知贵方，我公司今天已接纳P. 利顿先生入伙。

 

②表示“与某人合伙”，可接用with sb。

【例】I have this day entered into partnership with Mr. P. Lytton.

今天我已同P. 利顿先生合伙。

 

【2】合伙企业

 

①【例】Are you two – your friend and yourself a partnership?

你们俩——你的朋友和你自己是一家合伙经营企业吗？

 

②表示“与某人或单位组成合伙企业”可接用with sb。

【例】We’re going to form a partnership with local company to distribute our new product.

我们将要同当地一家公司成立一家合伙企业经销我方新产品。

①【例】We regret the delay, but we are not the party liable for it.

我们对这次延误表示遗憾，但责任不在我方。

 

②有时Party A，Party B等可省略为A，B等。

【例】(Party) A agrees to insure the goods for (Party) B and other interested parties.

甲方同意代乙方和其他有关方面为货物保险。

 

③Party为集体名词，可视为单数或复数，并相应使用单数或复数的动词和代词。

【例】Party A hereby appoint [appoints] Party B as their [his] sole agent for the sale of the commodity mentioned above.

甲方兹指定乙方作为销售上述商品的独家代理。

【1】传递

 

【例】The shipping documents have been passed to the London Branch of the Bank of Japan.

装船单据已交给日本银行伦敦分行了。

 

【2】经过，通过（检查等）

 

【例】If your goods remain within the bonded zone and do not pass the customs, you don’t have to pay duty on them.

如果货物继续放在保税区不通过海关，你就不必交纳关税。

 

【3】被通过，被许可

 

【例】In view of our amicable relations, we will let the matter pass.

鉴于我们双方融洽的关系，我们可不计较此事。

 

【4】转移

 

【例】The title to the merchandise will pass directly from the Seller to the Buyer.

货物的所有权将直接从卖方转移到买方。

 

【5】pass on传递，转交

 

【例】We will pass on your decision to our manufacturers.

我们要把你方决定转达给我方工厂。
