①很少用作定语,多用作补语。
【例】We are sending you some samples and hope one or more of them will be found fit for your requirements.

②句式:think [see] fit to do sth(后面可接用不定式)。
【例】We think fit to urge you to respond to our offer as soon as possible so that we may take good care of your demands.

【例】The freight is fixed at $28. f.i.o.s. per long ton on the quantity loaded.

注:f.i.o.s. [FIOS](free in and out, stowed)是指货物的装、卸及理船费用都归租船人负责。
