①一般情况下，用单数或复数并不造成意义上的差异。

【例】We greatly appreciate your positive effort(s).

非常感谢你方的积极努力。

 

②后面常接用动词不定式。

【例】We shall redouble our efforts to make this business a success.

我们要加倍努力使这项业务获得成功。

 

③后面也可接介词加动名词，介词以用in为最普遍。

【例】We trust that our manufacturers will spare no efforts in meeting your requirements.

我们相信厂方将不遗余力来满足你方需要。
