【1】声明，宣布

①接用名词（宾语）+补语。

【例】We are forced to declare the said Agreement null and void.

我们不得不宣称上述协议无效。

②接用从句。

【例】We hereby declare that the Agency Agreement shall become null and void as from May 15, 2002.

该代理协议自2002年5月15日起失效，特此声明。

【2】申报（纳税品、收益等）

【例】The customs officer asked us if we had anything to declare.

海关官员问过我们有无什么需要申报纳税的。
