Thanks for your email today, and I’m delighted to hear that your colleague, Mr. Ed Green, is making plans to visit England in July. We shall be very pleased to welcome him and to do all we can to make his visit enjoyable and successful.

I understand this will be Ed’s first visit to England, and I am sure he will be travelling around making contact with lots of potential clients. I do have some suggestions, and would be happy to introduce him to several firms with which he may like to do business.

Perhaps you can pass on my email address to him, so that we can be in touch personally. I’d also be happy to arrange to meet him at the airport and drive him to his hotel. He can be assured of a warm welcome.
