When we placed this order, we stressed that we needed delivery by 4 October at the latest.

We have already written to you twice reminding you of the importance of prompt delivery. However, as you have been unable to deliver these goods on time, we left with no choice but to cancel the order.

These goods were required for shipment abroad, and as the boat by which they were to be sent sails tomorrow, we have no means of getting them to our client in time for the exhibition for which they were required.
