经常使用单数形式，前面加the。

【例】In our company, if a person works hard, he’ll be rewarded. The reverse is also true. If a person is negligent in his duty, he’ll get penalized.

【3】使反向活动，使倒转

【例】The stock price tends upward for a period of time, then reverses itself; and vice versa.
