周期
A term derived from the study of the physics of sound, and used in acoustic phonetics, referring to the time it takes for a cycle of pressure variation in a sound wave to repeat itself. The shorter the period, the more cycles there will be in a given unit of time, and thus the higher the frequency.
原为物理声学术语,现用于声学语音学,指声波中一个压力变化周重复一次所需的时间。周期越短,给定单位时间内的周数越多,频率就越高。
