Oral Sound

口腔音

In phonetics, “oral” is opposed to nasal, referring to the specific sounds that are made in 他和oral area. The opposition is usually with the nasal cavity (and with nasal sounds), but the pharynx, oesophagus and lungs are also excluded from the notion of “oral”.

语音学中与鼻音相对，指在口腔区域发的具体的音。一般口腔（口腔音）与鼻腔（鼻音）对立，但咽腔、食道和肺也不属于“口腔”。
